Family's memories

In questa pagina un po’ insolita, ho voluto raccogliere dei frammenti del mio passato.

Un semplice omaggio a chi mi ha preceduta!
Sono riuscita a recuperare delle vecchie e consunte foto, che mia madre aveva conservato con molta cura in una scatola. Chissa' quante però, si sono perse, durante i vari  traslochi e trasferimenti da un paese all'altro del mondo, dove i miei genitori hanno vissuto prima di stabilirsi definitivamente in Italia nel 1968 ...

In this, a bit unusual page, I wanted to collect some pieces of my past.  
A simple tribute to those who preceded me!
I succeeded in recovering some old and worn pictures, which my mother kept very carefully in a boxe. I wonder how many other has been lost during the removals when my parents moved from a country to another where they lived before they finally settled in Italy in 1968 ...

LIKE THE BRANCHES WE MAY GROW IN MANY DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS, BUT OUR ROOTS REMAIN FIRMLY IN THE GROWND AND WILL KEEP US TOGETHER, FOREVER.

Le foto a seguire si riferiscono invece al ramo della famiglia da parte di mia madre.
Alcune sono veramente molto vecchie e risalgono addirittura a tre generazioni prima della mia!

Some are really very old and date back to three generation before mine!

In questa prima immagine è ritratto il mio bisnonno, padre del mio nonno materno (indicato da una freccia), fotografato insieme ai suoi fratelli ed ai loro genitori (Alessandria-Italia fine''800).

The first picture portrays my great-grandfather, the father of my maternal grandfather (pointed by the arrow). He’s portrayed with his brothers and with their parents (Alessandria – Italy, end of the Nineteenth century)
